As for range, it is influenced not only by the battery’s capacity but also by the level of assistance selected during your rides; it typically ranges from 30 to over 100 km per charge. The average energy consumption of an electric bike (e-bike) is estimated at about 7Wh/km. However, thanks to the torque sensor, your energy consumption is optimized, resulting in significant savings—easily reducing your energy consumption by 20% compared to a Bafang BBS02, for example.

• What is the top speed my electric bike can reach with the TSDZ8?

  The maximum speed achievable with this kit is approximately 45 km/h. However, depending on your bike’s rear cassette, the type of bike (mountain bike, hybrid, cargo bike, gravel bike), and the size of the chainring mounted on the TSDZ8, you may be able to reach higher speeds…

• What accessories are included with the conversion kit, and what tools do I need to install my bottom bracket motor kit?

  The TSDZ8 kit comes with the motor, battery, charger, and display you selected. In addition, your kit includes all the components needed for assembly: screws, cables, cranks, cable ties, and a special wrench for the main nut. However, to complete the assembly, you will also need the following tools:

  1. Allen key sets (2.5 mm / 3 mm / 4 mm / 5 mm / 6 mm),
  2. Phillips and flathead screwdrivers,
  3. Torque wrench (optional),
  4. Crank puller (available from any bike/sports store),
  5. Bottom bracket removal tool compatible with your model (available at all sports and bike stores),
  6. Cutting pliers,
  7. Threadlocker (available at all home improvement stores),
  8. A few extra clamps

• Is the electric conversion on my bike reversible? Can the kit be removed if necessary?

  Yes, the electric conversion of your bike is reversible, and the kit can be removed if necessary to install it on another bike. That’s the whole point of investing in a kit that will easily adapt to your changing needs.

• What is the warranty on the conversion kit?

• Is the battery removable, and can it be recharged separately from the bike?

  Yes, the battery is removable and can be recharged away from the bike. We recommend using the charger included with the kit to ensure optimal charging. To extend the life of your battery, charge it after each use and store it at a temperature between 10 and 20 °C. Avoid letting the battery discharge completely before recharging it, as this can damage the cells. Be sure to recharge your battery at least once a month and never store it when it’s fully discharged.

• Are there any usage restrictions for the conversion kit in terms of weight or terrain type?

  The electric motor kit is designed for use with a maximum load of 150 kg on flat ground; however, it is important to verify that your bike can support such a load. • Do you offer 24-hour delivery?
