\u00c9tienne, an avid mountain biker, was looking to give a new lease of life to his Specialized Stumpjumper M4<\/strong>, an all-suspension mountain bike he had long used for his mountain adventures. Wishing to mix everyday utility with off-road pleasure, he opted to electrify his bike, combining performance and durability.<\/p>\n

Description of the Electrified Front Bike :<\/h2>\n

The Specialized Stumpjumper M4<\/strong> is renowned for its impressive off-road capabilities, thanks to a full suspension system that offers comfort and control on the most demanding terrain. Before its electrification, this ATV was already a reliable choice for \u00c9tienne, but he wanted to increase its usefulness by also adapting it for his daily needs.<\/p>\n

Reasons for Electrification :<\/h2>\n

\u00c9tienne wanted to make the most of his ATV’s potential by also making it usable for his daily commute. Electrification seemed to him the best option for extending the use of his bike while retaining the pleasure of mountain biking. By giving his bike a second life<\/strong>, \u00c9tienne was able to combine durability with new technology.<\/p>\n

Kit installation :<\/h2>\n

For his DIY (Do It Yourself) project, \u00c9tienne installed an electrification kit himself, using the TSDZ2 Pedal Motorization Kit<\/a> to bring power and reliability to his ATV. Aware of the importance of the chain line, especially on an all-terrain mountain bike, \u00c9tienne chose to install a narrow wide 42T chainring<\/a>, optimized for the TSDZ2 engine, to guarantee a straight chain and minimize the risk of derailment. For the drums, he used Syklo’s drum mounting kit<\/a>, allowing flexible, solid integration without relying on traditional bottle-holder fixings.<\/p>\n

Electrification has transformed \u00c9tienne’s ATV, enabling him to use it for both off-road fun and everyday needs. The ability to easily overcome difficult terrain combined with carefree daily use illustrates the effectiveness of its transformation, significantly increasing the value and functionality of its bike.<\/p>\n
