\n TSDZ2<\/h1>\n

There are 3 main factors<\/b> to find out if the TSDZ2 crankset motor<\/a> fits your current bike. Internal diameter of crankset, width and wall thickness.<\/p>\n

The motor is compatible with bottom brackets with an internal diameter of internal diameter of 33.5 to 35 mm<\/b>and a width from 68 to 73 mm<\/b> and a thickness <\/b>of wall thickness <\/b>wall thickness (or clearance) of less than 8 mm<\/b>. This type of crankset is generally referred to as BSA <\/b>or JIS<\/b>. We also offer an adapter for Pressfit 41mm bottom bra<\/a>ckets.<\/p>\n

It’s simple: you print out the templates (following the instructions), stick them on cardboard, and there you are, visualizing your future chain line and the place to insert the battery. <\/p>\n

When you’re about to add an electric motor to your bike (follow our tutorial here)<\/a>, it’s important to important to consider several aspects<\/b>. First of all, you need to examine the geometry and size of your bike frame to determine whether the motor can be fitted. Bikes with carbon frames must be fitted with aluminum bottom brackets to avoid any risk of damage to the carbon by the motor.<\/p>\n

If the diameter of <\/b>your bottom bracket is too small or too large, this may limit the possibility of mounting the motor.. Note that ne also offer an adapter for Pressfit 41mm bottom brackets.<\/a><\/p>\n

Next, you need to check whether your bike has enough space space for the battery<\/b>. If your bike is small, this can be a challenge, but there are workarounds, such as battery bags or rack-mounted batteries.<\/p>\n

Finally, it’s important to examine the quality of your transmission<\/b> and brakes <\/b> to find out if they are suitable for adding an electric motor. If your transmission isn’t in good condition, it may not be able to handle the extra power from the engine (discussed here)<\/a>, and if your brakes aren’t powerful enough, it could cause safety issues<\/b>.<\/p>\n
